Forest Flow yoga hike

A Forest Flow-Yoga Hike with Meg Griffin

September 15, 2024
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join Meg for a walk through the forest and a grounding flow! These yoga hikes are designed to get us out in the beautiful Seattle summer and move our bodies while cultivating community.
Experience the benefits of forest bathing as we immerse ourselves in the sights, sounds, and scents of nature. Forest bathing, or “shinrin-yoku,” is a Japanese practice that involves mindfully connecting with the forest environment. It has been shown to reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance overall well-being.

Practicing yoga in nature allows us to connect more deeply with our surroundings, enhancing our sense of peace and presence. The natural beauty and serenity of the forest (yes even the parks in our own neighborhoods!) provide the perfect backdrop for our yoga practice, helping us to ground ourselves and find balance. Come join us for a rejuvenating journey that combines the tranquility of nature with the grounding practice of yoga.

This practice is open to all levels.
